"This is a lovely cottage, full of character whilst still being comfortable and cosy. The location within the town is perfect. Completely quiet and peaceful but only two minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The addition of a car parking space is SO useful....and very rare! Our hosts were delightful. Communicative and available without being in any way intrusive. Altogether, a very good find!"

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"We had a lovely few days stay. Everything you need is in the kitchen, even as far as washing powder. The cottage is old so the stairs creak a bit but thats only to be expected. Beds comfortable as well as the sofas. It is a dog friendly cottage even supplying the dog bowls. The only thing we found is you have to drive to the beach to walk the dog as we didnt feel comfortable walking along the lanes."

Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. "What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. We visit family in Dorset often, and shall definitely hope to stay in this delightful spot again. We cannot think of anything negative to mention!"
