"Cosy cottage? This is a 3 Bedroomed, large house with the owner living next door. It is very comfortable, especially the downstairs. Its in a lovely area for walks etc.- we took our bikes and had a lovely time seeing some small villages around and a great Pub,10 minutes walk away. The kitchen is very large and well equipped for all your needs, love the old range (which is for show only). "Lovely comfortable spacious cottage in a great location for making the most of the many local walks in the wonderful Dorset countryside. Good accessibility to the local beaches and other attractions in the area with the delightful Beaminster town centre only a short walk away from the cottage. The pretty garden was an unexpected bonus and perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our stay and are keen to come back !"

"Found this lovely property on line and it’s a truly lovely place, it’s quite secluded but had easy access to Taunton, the gardens were really lovely and the place was very clean and comfy, I can recommend staying here, the only negative would be the lack of Netflix"

"We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. Would happily stay here again."

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"We had a lovely few days stay. Everything you need is in the kitchen, even as far as washing powder. The cottage is old so the stairs creak a bit but thats only to be expected. Beds comfortable as well as the sofas. It is a dog friendly cottage even supplying the dog bowls. The only thing we found is you have to drive to the beach to walk the dog as we didnt feel comfortable walking along the lanes."

"The property is well furnished and very clean. It has all the equipment that is needed, and we were treated to a welcome gift which was lovely (no spoilers). It is very close to a general stores shop and a lovely fish & chip shop We enjoyed our stay and Bridport is a great place."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "
