"The penthouse was great for our group of 6. The outside seating is nice to have but the surroundings aren’t great to sit and look at. The hosts were great and responsive. Given the walkability score, I thought there might be more around to walk too. Having a grocery across the street was very helpful. "

"Overall the place is fairly small, in my opinion perfect for a couples weekend get away. 15 min from downtown San Diego, balboa park, waterfront park, etc. The one downside is the parking which can be a head ache but with the great weather if San Diego, a short 2-3 min walk is nothing."

"We stayed four nights in February and found it tough to leave this comfortable, cozy apartment on the lower level of an historic manse. The owners' thoughtful touches are everywhere from a bowl of yummy snacks to beach towels and a big laundry hamper for the washer and dryer in the unit.The location is ideal to visit the best of sunny San Diego including the world famous Zoo and La Jolla to see the seals and art galleries. And it's just about half a mile from the airport car rental center. Great...
