"We went for a short vacation over Christmas break. We chose the property partly based on location and setting (based on pictures on vrbo) The pictures are not quite current and are maybe filtered? We found it fairly dirty and missing things such as wash clothes, hand soap, dish clothes, etc. Many small maintenance issues such as burned out bulbs, outlets and lights that didn't work, ice and water in fridge door didn't work, and no mirror in upstairs master bath. "We stayed in Lake Alfred for a wedding in Lake Wales, which was about 35 minutes away. The cabin is very cozy, although unfortunately my husband is very tall, so it wasn’t the best fit for us - it’s often so hard to tell room dimensions from photos. The property was still decked out in Christmas lights, which was so cheerful. Easy, convenient parking. "Beautiful location on lake. Great fishing in small pond and large lake. Quiet. Nice, clean cabins. Rec room was fun for teenage son during heat of day - air hockey, Pac-Man, pool table."

"I was greeted by Cheryl when I arrived and she was so warm, kind, and accommodating. The cabin was clean and smelled wonderful walking into the door. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. There’s a great dog park that my dogs loved. It was so nice and we had such a wonderful experience! We will be returning!"
