"The hotel/room itself was fine - the carpet in the hallways was very loose on the 4th floor and could potentially be hazardous for people with disabilities. Everything worked and was clean, so no complaints there. I do have to sing the staff's praises because I accidentally left valuable jewelry in our room and called them afterward to let them know. They kindly kept my jewelry items safe for 4 days until I was able to pick it up. I was so thankful and relieved. Kudos to the kind souls who went above and beyond for their guest. Thank you!"

"I received an email after booking that the heated pool was open, when we arrived it was clearly not and hadn't been for a long time. I showed the property the email they sent me and they were surprised that "corporate" had sent it. It was very disappointing as that was one of the reasons we took this very out of the way hotel far from everything in Madison. The rooms were dated (ours still worked on a key) but clean with some very interesting room furniture. Bathroom was odd, the shower was big enough but the shower didn't tilt, so it shot water all over the floor near the the toilet. The breakfast was the best surprise, make your own omelets, biscuits and gravy, waffle and pancake stations, fruit station. Fresh hashbrowns. It was really a great breakfast. "
