"Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book...

"Convenient location and spacious for our group. We enjoyed Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens and the Florida Museum attractions as well as several nonchain restaurants which were excellent (the Pirate Grill-try the mushroom soup; Humble Wood Fire Pizzeria-cashew alfredo topping was delicious for a friend allergic to milk, and Las Carretas was a fun atmosphere with a salsa bar for ones' chips). Not to mention the hot tub was lovely on these uncharistically cold evenings."

"This property is like living in a tree house. Every level opens to the wooded oversized property. You wake to the sounds of birds each day. Even in the chilly weather , the inside temperature is quite comfortable at every level. It’s close to many walking trails, which was a daily activity for our family. "

The home is CLEAN and very tastefully decorated and cozy. The extra details like the lighting, the plants, the bedding, the comfortable furniture makes this a 10/10 property.
