"The location is challenging to get to but the property with the 2 pools overlooking the water is worth the drive. Some updating is required especially in the hallways to the rooms. Rooms are updated and beautiful. We needed a light replaced and a slow water faucet to be fixed. The reception is very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the island. Breakfast is a buffet and not worth it if you are expecting a North American standard. "

"This accommodation was perfect for us. We wanted a home base while exploring the island, somewhere we could relax and make our own dinner, or have a leisurely morning coffee without just looking at 4 hotel room walls. The view from the deck is truly astounding, and the apartment is beautifully furnished. The host was incredibly welcoming and even had a collection of local foods ready to help us get our stay started. Can't recommend it highly enough."

"We loved this house. Location was rural but only 10 mins to Ponta Delgada. The views across the cornfield to the ocean....amazing. The kithen was well-equipped with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Our host was quick to respond with any queries. "Where to start? The experience at Karen's wonderful "Het Boetje" was top notch. The apartment, on a quiet seafront street, is traditional, spacious, comfortable, fully equipped and quirky in a very good way. There are 3 outdoor options, including a small elevated deck area with an uninterrupted view of the sea. What a spot for your morning coffee.
