There are no airconditioned rooms or areas in the hotel and we could not excape the heat other than go back in our car and drive around. Beautiful place

"The hotel was beautiful, located right on the lake. Our room was really nice, but the bathroom ceiling was old and crumbling, and the blinds were broken. There was also smell of sewage during the night. We mentioned this to the receptionist and she changed our rooms by the third night and offered us a free dinner at the restaurant as a compensation. The second room was lovely. The pool could use a clean up. But overall the experience was lovely and we got engaged there so we have a special place for this hotel in our memory now:)"

Hotel has huge windows with amazing views but in June (summer) the hotel becomes a furnace. The room and public areas were just too hot for our comfort. There are no airconditioned rooms or areas in the hotel and we could not excape the heat other than go back in our car and drive around. Our misfortune was that our checkin was December 24 and most services (F&B, Spa) were just not available. Breakfast (xmas morning!) was nothing particular. Just plain continental without any xmas atmosphere. Maintenance is needed as many areas show damaged woodwork and painting opportunities. All in all not the experience we expected. This hotel is probably a better choice in winter time."
