"Alta Traful wastes the opportunity it has to provide guests with an experience as unique as the lake it is situated upon. The room was basic and bathroom (tiny sized) had taps either leaking or falling of. Parking is not enforced so vehicles were parked irregularly making it difficult to park our own — I took a photo & asked reception to get the truck moved but she did nothing. "The setting is glorious, nestled in the woods on a lake. The staff was friendly and eager to please.
Understaffed in the restaurant. Had to wait quite a while each morning for breakfast items to be replenished. The poor employee was doing as much as she could on her own.
No WiFi in the basement where the gym is, so couldn’t use my Peloton app to work out with the hotel’s gym equipment. It’s a classy hotel; I was surprised they didn’t have a booster so we could get WiFi down there.
Kayaking available right from the hotel! What a plus! Unfortunately no single kayaks which is what I like, just two doubles.
There was a lot of condensation on the window in the room which created small pools of water on the window sill and we had to wipe the windows down to be able to see the gorgeous view.

"The best view of Villa La Angostura. Family of 5 stayed at a deluxe cabin with a view. Very clean, excellent location if you rent a car, modern and spacious cabin. It had all kitchen utensils and appliances needed for a very comfortable stay. Absolutely recommend! "
