"We were visiting the area for a few days and the Comfort Inn was perfectly located for our activities. We were able to walk to Patriots Point to take our boat to Fort Sumter. It was a 20-minute ride to Sullivan's Island to go to Fort Moultrie. If you're a beach person, Sullivan's Island has beautiful beaches, but we were also not far from Folly Beach. Of course, we also were only 10 minutes from downtown Charleston, which was wonderful. The hotel also is near many restaurants and this fun amusement business, MIX, with duckpin bowling, an arcade, and they have karaoke on Thursday nights. The room was large and had good amenities like a fridge and a microwave. I wish they offered bodywash, but they had lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. The breakfast was great with many hot and cold options. Our favorite part of our stay was the sweet lady taking care of the breakfast area! "

"Our first time in Charleston, and staying at The Charleston Place was the best choice. This hotel is located in an ideal location for dining, shopping and sight seeing. We only took an Uber to and from the airport (about 20 minutes). The hotel is beautiful, clean and pays attention to detail. The nightly turn down service was a nice touch. Highly recommend this hotel!! We will be back!"

Next time we stay we’ll get a room by the pool with the cute gates and patios. The staff is always great. We’ve ate many times at the Iron rose and Brian is an absolute gem. We get him as our waiter every time and can’t say enough good things. "

"The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are pretty small, but it’s an older hotel and really charming. The location couldn’t be better. Tons of shopping there’s even a park across the street to hang out in. It’s just lovely. Staff is really helpful and the dining room, I only had breakfast, was terrific.
