"Location is excellent. Very close to the WWII museum (a must see). It's on Magazine, the premier walking, shopping and eating street in NOLA (in my opinion).The neighborhood (Lower Garden District) has beautiful homes and is great for just walking around. "The Garden District B&B is an excellent location for a stay in New Orleans. It is in a great area for local shops and restaurants. It is only a short streetcar ride from the French quarter. Ray the host is super friendly. It is set in an old building but do not let that put you off as the rooms are clean , spacious and comfortable. "

The St Charles streetcar is just a block away, so you can park your rental car and ride to the French Quarter and elsewhere.
