"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. "The hotel is run by a lovely French couple. They were extremely nice, interacted with guests quite a bit and even got us a baby bath tube for our baby to be able to have a shower. "Decided to book L'Exil lodge for Valentines day. If your driving very low car, I would strongly recommend leaving the car in the car park, and take the shuttle directly to the hotel, as the road is very bad to get there. "On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on.
