"Nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille! Les hôtes sont hyper accueillants, gentils, accommodants, bienveillants et font en sorte que vous ne manquez de rien. L’endroit est calme, c’est hyper propre et il y a une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Le déjeuner est bon et copieux. De plus il y a deux restos à deux pas pour le dîner. Nous avons pris une chambre avec terrasse et nous avons apprécié cet option. Franchement je recommande cet endroit ! Pour le prix en plus, n’hésitez...

"We wish to thank Kris & his wife for making our trip memorable. The accommodation was just perfect for us. It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. Despite his busy schedule, he found time to talk to us and made us feel at home. Thank you Kris! "

"1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"

"I don't normally write reviews, let alone negative ones, but if I can save someone from experiencing this place, it's worth it. The pictures definitely don't match the listing. When we arrived, we were greeted outside the property by approximately 20 different neighborhood dogs that not only barked loudly then, but continued throughout the entire night. The bed was filthy. Not only did the sheets have bad stains, but also the bed and frame itself. There were also several curly black hairs on and...

"Chez Jacques is a very relaxed, cozy place in a local neighbourhood away from the all-inclusive hotels. The surfspots of Tamarin Bay are at your doorstep. Manager Iwan is a genuine friendly guy and very helpful in giving advice about things to do, advice on where to surf, sorting out transport at affordable prices, etc, etc. Enjoyed my stay and without a doubt, would stay there again."

"Nice place to stay in Mauritius! Very clean. The rooms have AC while the main living area has fans . Bathrooms were very spacious. Staff was really nice and the groundskeeper was so helpful with helping us find transportation when we were in a pinch . Kind staff , cute place"

"La maison est grande, confortable, tres propre, au calme et la terrasse est tres agréable. Nous avons aussi beaucoup profite de la superbe piscine. Mais c est surtout Anouchhka notre logeuse qui a rendu notre sejour inoubliable.Elle a été aux petis soins pour nous. Encore un grand merci a toi Anouchka. Je vous recommande vraiment cette location."

"Just the right amount of chill and optional activities. Only just over an hour from the airport. Beautiful sightseeing nearby and watersports. Very attentive staff. Great food and drink selection. Adults only was so worth it but still access to Turquoise hotel if needed. We didn't upgrade our room/view or pay for Elite but it was still lovely. Beach on the doorstep."

Beautiful Mauritius

"Beautiful report. Stunning backdrop with mountain in background as you’re by the pool or beach. Everything was almost perfect. The almost is the service.. although it’s done with a smile and very warm.. it was a bit slow. We sometimes had to repeat orders. So 9/10. Would definitely visit again. "

"Definitely a top hotel. Few comments. To give extra information for future guests about small downsides. No hot drinks at lunch and dinner. (It is possible in the various bars), breakfast we found open late 07h30. And yet quite a bit of construction debris (concrete blocks) on the beach and sunbed)"
