"The pictures are accurate of the home. It was well maintained, but as the pictures indicate, there was a lot of stuff/knick knacks everywhere. The one item that detracted was that the owner had at least 10 essential oil diffusers of all different scents in the house that overpowered the senses. It was quite unpleasant. "We loved the location and all the bedrooms and bathrooms, but the place didn't feel clean, several people had bug bites from sleeping in the beds, towels smelled rank from not being dried in a timely fashion, glassware and mugs were too few to even have a glass of wine or cup of coffee with the whole group. And though it may not be standard practice in Europe, in the US we would expect soap, shampoo and enough toilet paper to last our stay. We had none of these provided."

"The gate to the property is hidden from the main road. It's opposite an industrial park. The private drive to the property is a dirt track and will take 10 minutes. It is only suitable for 4 x 4 cars and confident drivers. However, you can see plenty of rabbits and the odd owl along the way. The villa is looked after by a lovely couple, with a son who can talk a bit of English. They don't. They are on site and will help you navigate the use of the villa. "This was such an amazing house and the location was unbeatable! We were in the heart of the city with great restaurants and shopping right outside our door. The house is spacious and had great sleeping options and baths for a larger group. Everything was clean and well maintained. The A/C was so welcomed after a day of walking around midsummer. The separation of bedrooms allowed for our teens to stay up later while we slept. We will be back!!"

"We stayed 16 friends at El Cotillo for a week this July, we were welcomed by Carlos who has been wonderful in helping us with everything we needed and being like a friend to us during our stay. The property was beautiful, even better than the photos and very clean. The perfect place for our summer reunion holiday, we enjoyed the outdoor areas and the pool very much. The kitchen was very well equipped and the local supermarket too. We would love to return thank you very much!"
