"Nice property"

"A nice hotel very convenient for all Oslo has to offer. Close to train station and other transport options. Breakfast was very busy at the weekends and queues were a result. The food could have been much hotter. I would not expect to pay extra to access the pool in a five star hotel. Room service was very quick and the food tasty."

The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "Very nice stay at the Clarion Admiral, which has a first class location across the harbour from the UNESCO world heritage Bryggen houses. Lovely views from the room. Bergen harbour area is easily walkable from the hotel. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. No parking on site however - public indoor parking several hundred meters from hotel."
