"This was our third stay at Freedom Inn. We love the location within walking distance to the ski field but away from touristy Hirafu. They have a great pick up drop off shuttle service which can take you to dinner in either Hirafu or Kutchan. Try Kutchan for a more authentic japanese experience. You can even stop by an onsen on the way! There also is a free shuttle to/from the ski lifts. The rooms are very spaceous and there is an onsen/ouffro on site too. The photos don't really do this place...

"Nice location 2 min walk away from the base of niseko Annapuri but otherwise very basic accommodations with small rooms, small hard beds, shared bathrooms/showers and hosts were not very helpful when we had issues with transiting. Bring cash! The accommodation house does offer cheaper lift tickets but must be paid in cash. "

"This place was perfect for a ski week. It’s simple, yes, but the staff (especially Noki) are wonderful and accommodating, it’s clean, you get a decent breakfast, and the location is great.The value is clear. "

"Great - easy and very convenient location. Housekeeping was quite late though in the day for those not checking out. Concierge information could be better and more readily available re tours/local area and transport explanations etc. But overall, very good. "

"Loved everything about the hotel and Niseko ski experience. My only suggestion is to add ski racks/tubes on the outside of the buses to make it much easier to transport back and forth to the ski area. Having your skis stacked on the front seats is inefficient and causes damage to the skis. It would be so much easier if there were racks on the outside of the buses. See Aspen or most US resorts for ideas/pictures"

"What a wonderful place to stay, the staff are super friendly and are very helpful, the view from our room was superb, the easy of ski in and out was awesome with the ace quad just metre down a green run, no need to walk up to the lifts, then up the ace gondola to the other lifts. The apartment amenities were first rate, room sounds proof so it was nice and quiet. I highly recommend the maples "
