"This was a terrific stay. We all loved it. Suites were large and minimalist but very tasteful, exceptionally comfortable with all technical amenities and private onsen in each suite. I would describe this as a luxury and modern take on the traditional Japanese inn (inn was built in 2020). Inn is about 7 minutes drive from the hopping ski town of Hirafu. "I rated them excellent on everything, especially customer service thanks to a medical emergency. They helped out with immensely. The one area that was a little bit more challenging was the fact that it’s an older building and you have to expect some idiosyncrasies but was well maintained. The location and staff are what stand out most!"

"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"Would visit again. Feels like home at a fraction of the price of neighboring hotels. "

"Very nice owner/hostess. This is a very clean typocal Japanese pension. Nothing fancy except the toilets, which are the high tech heated seats/bidet. Conveniently located in Hirafu village with easy ski access. "

"These are lovely people who are genuinely just nice people. They have run this pension for 40 years and its 3rd generation, all whom which still work their bar the Patriach Granfather whosed passed. The Matriach Grandma still works here at 92. Her daughter and husband run the place and do all the cleaning and cooking and daily chores along with their extremely helpful daughter. "This place is a hostel for hotel prices. Niseko is expensive for sure, but this place is extremely expensive for what it is. One shared shower between perhaps 12-15 people. The breakfast is super average and the value for money at the associated eateries (where breakfast is served) are super expensive for the size of the meals. The staff working there were super nice but the owner maybe shouldn't be client-facing. "

"It was a quiet villa in the isolated forest. We had a tough time locating it as we reached after sky turned dark. Fortunately, a call to the owner Hideo-San and he came to fetch us! When he led us to the villa, it was a pleasant surprise! It's a big villa that was cosy, clean and well equipped. The decoration made us feel at home, and the beds were comfortable. "Great - easy and very convenient location. Housekeeping was quite late though in the day for those not checking out. Concierge information could be better and more readily available re tours/local area and transport explanations etc. But overall, very good. "

"Loved everything about the hotel and Niseko ski experience. My only suggestion is to add ski racks/tubes on the outside of the buses to make it much easier to transport back and forth to the ski area. Having your skis stacked on the front seats is inefficient and causes damage to the skis. It would be so much easier if there were racks on the outside of the buses. See Aspen or most US resorts for ideas/pictures"

"What a wonderful place to stay, the staff are super friendly and are very helpful, the view from our room was superb, the easy of ski in and out was awesome with the ace quad just metre down a green run, no need to walk up to the lifts, then up the ace gondola to the other lifts. The apartment amenities were first rate, room sounds proof so it was nice and quiet. I highly recommend the maples "

"Loved the 4 night stay here. The location across the street from the Hanazono lifts is perfect. The breakfast buffet was great but a bit expensive. The room was good soft pillows and two large double beds pushed together. I used the Onsen 3 times and it was nice after a long day skiing. The front desk was super helpful in shipping luggage to Sapporo. "

"One of the best valued Hotel I stayed in, and will definitely recommend to people who are on budget Location: nearest to Hirafu and near to 7-11 walking distance Parking: Free upon request Lounge: Cozy and comfortable Room: Clean, plenty of USB ports for your charging needs, a big fridge which is a plus. you can buy food stuffs and chuck them all in. Pantry: Microwave, utensils, saucepans, pots, induction cooker provided free to use. Bed: very comfortable and nice to sleep on Duvet: warm and soft Pillow: extremely comfortable which I like to specifically mention it. Toilet: separated from bathroom, which is great for higher utilization Heating: adjustable heater to suit your comfort and you can place your wet ski wear on it to dry Wardrobe: very well design, seperate compartments for shoes and jackets. Others: a room where you can place all your ski equipments."

"We stayed at the WE Toya as our home base for a Rusutsu ski trip. It was fabulous. The onsen was so lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. We never ate at the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was super. The rooms are very large and the one time the onsen was closed for cleaning, we used the balcony tub and it was delightful. We would definitely stay here again!"
