"Lovely hotel near the square close to all the shops"

"A beautiful hotel 10 mins walk from Kazimierz to the south and the main square to the north, situated right next to Wavel Castle. The staff were excellent, courteous and approachable. Reception was always staffed and could answer any question we had or advice we needed. Take advantage of the MSHG card for a free gift, normally a drink, at restaurants within the consortium. Do make sure you get the card back at each place you visit, however. The price was a little bit on the steep side for the size of the rooms, but makes up for it with “the small things”…you will not be disappointed. You will be comfortable. "

"I had a cozy single which was well placed and comfortable. As a VIP, the hotel put a full-sized bottle of wine in my room, which I appreciated. My only concern is that the hotel tells clients to place a sign on the door by 3 p.m., if you want to opt-in for cleaning services. But I didn't check in until 3:30 p.m. when I arrived, so I fear I had missed it. The room was serviced anyway after I put the sign up late, but I've never had to "opt-in" to cleaning before. (Usually, a client has to put a sign on the door if opting out.) That was awkward. I think the opt-out option in most other hotels is better."
