"Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal. Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat! Perfect place to start our Indian adventure."

"Friendly team of staff led by Andrew who went out of his way to be provide any assistance we needed. More information needs to be provided during the check-in process about the hotel policies on hot water, cleaning and facilities timings to avoid misunderstandings. The restaurant manager was most helpful and the food served was freshly made and tasty. There were some flys in the restaurant which could have been avoided by plugging in an insect repellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The gym was disappointing as all the cardio equipment did not work and was not cleaned regularly. The massages at the Spa were excellent and the swimming pool was clean. "

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "

"There’s no doubt this is a beautiful historical old hotel, rooms are comfortable and have lots of original features! Good aircon and comfortable beds. However it does need a little love and attention- could definitely do with a bit of renovation (there were some works going on whilst we were there) nothing major and it didn’t inconvenience us at all) so maybe in a few months improvements will show. The pool area was lovely but again a bit scruffy and run down and the water was murky. Overall we enjoyed our stay though, the location is amazing you are right in the centre of Fort Kochi - good value for money just needs some attention and it would be great! "
