"Very cool place, the pool is perfect and the view is unreal so to have both is amazing especially for the price. Do think the place could with some updating as it’s beginning to look dated. The hill up to the property is very steep, some taxis and drivers won’t go up there so be mindful of that when you’re booking. Me and my partner are young and fit and it was a task. There is a shuttle that runs throughout the day that’s free to guests so if you time it right you won’t need to worry. "

"This place was beautiful, luxurious and exactly as pictured. 6 people could stay here comfortably. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The pool is cleaned daily, along with the rest of the villa. It is easy to get Grabs from here and many restaurants deliver though Grab as well. There is also room service - the food is pretty good. Many restaurants and shops a few minutes away by car or bike. The only downside for us was that the beds are too firm. I would love to return here. "

"Akra hotel was a great stay; spacious, clean, and with a dedicated staff. Communication may be a slight issue with some language barriers. This hotel is, however, not very close to many of the attractions or places to visit in Phuket, which is apparent if you look atthe location of the hotel on the map. It's made accessible via Grab. Approximately 45-60 minutes to either old town Phuket or Petang, and further from southern beaches. Some smaller cities are nearby with good beaches & good food."

"Beautiful hotel, we upgraded to the supercar theme 2 bed suite for our vehicle mad children - the attention to detail with the theming is fantastic - even the ceiling fan had finish flag print all over. 5 & 8yos enjoyed some time in kids club, especially the rock climbing & cookie making - Otto and his team are so lovely with the kids. "I LOVED the cleaning ladies, we stayed there for 13 nights. It was absolute bliss coming home to a clean mopped house every day. Not only that, they noticed we had laundry to be done. Washed, dried, folded and delivered next day. Shuttle bus was only too friendly to drop us anywhere around Kamala. Would highly recommend. Love you guys ! "
