All of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. First time in Krabi. The hotel is beautiful. Very clean . With a lot of amenities. All the staff were very nice and professional. We stayed on a high end room. This property was probably beautiful when it first opened but it is now run-down & needs maintenance. The location is stunning, as it's set within a national park. There are monkeys around, so beware! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge access was well worth the upgrade as the afternoon tea and evening cocktail hour had a nice selection of items. Breakfast was just average for us but there is a lot of options to chose from.

The location was beautiful, truly stunning beach and lush tropical jungle all around, but the resort itself was not in good condition. I booked due to its 5 star rating and it was more like a 3 or 4 star hotel as far as the facilities and rooms go. Things were shabby and in ill repair, some things in our room were falling apart on arrival like the blinds a the sliding glass door nearly fell off. We still had a nice time but definitely felt misled by the rating and paid too much for the over-all quality of the place.
