"We stayed in The Oceanic Sportel for 5 nights. We, however, spent most of the days on tours and did not use any of the facilities hotel offers (pool, gym, tennis courts). Be aware of the location of the hotel, there are no close beaches as most of them are on the other side of the island. The staff is always nice. We took breakfast at the hotel as well. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from. "

Only downside is no bar and is in a Muslim area but getting a taxi is no problem if you want a non halal meal close. "My room was huge, with full kitchen, living area, bedroom, bathroom. The air-con and WIFI were excellent. The staff was nice, and even provided me a free ride down to the main road. Caution: Looks like the place is still under construction - some of the areas aren't done yet. My two complaints: 1) I found a cockroach in the bathroom. I think this is kind of 'normal' for Thailand. 2) The location is in the middle of nowhere. I did manage to walk about 45 minutes to an area with food/store. But...
