"The hotel is ok, a little tired and out of the way. Staff are friendly and its saving grace is that is close to Friday Cafe and Bistrot, which is very good and remarkably reasonable. If you do end up here I recommend a trip to the Old Town, a delight."

"We stayed in The Oceanic Sportel for 5 nights. We, however, spent most of the days on tours and did not use any of the facilities hotel offers (pool, gym, tennis courts). Be aware of the location of the hotel, there are no close beaches as most of them are on the other side of the island. The staff is always nice. We took breakfast at the hotel as well. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from. "

A few areas are incomplete (kids wet play zone) etc, but otherwise the finish is very nice. "The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. The mini bar had some nice complimentary items. Unlike many places, the rooms were not serviced each day, nor was the water replaced. Our room had a door to an adjoining room, and we could hear everything that happened in the next room. The service we received was exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay. "We had a good stay here. We had a pool access room which was nice to go straight into the pool after a day of sight seeing. The only negative is it’s quite near the reception area and you can hear a lot so I would advise earplugs. I put them in the second night and slept much better.
