"A beautiful, elegant hotel in a quiet location. The room was spacious, clean with tv, tea facilities, hairdryer & bath/ shower. Although dinner lacked any real choice as a vegan ( the only option was winter salad minus the honey & mustard vinaigrette) and chunky chips) breakfast was out of this world and the staff were far more accommodating. We accessed the spa facilities with a separate booking, which were amazing. A lovely little relaxing break. "

The towels, toiletries & shower were all as good as more expensive place. Impossible for a big hotel of this age to compete with the new builds. "It was great! The staff were nice and approachable. They upgraded our room when I requested a closer room to the entrance as I am 30 weeks pregnant. The spa and pool were amazing as well. We enjoyed it. We'll be back again. "

"The place was gorgeous! The staff were helpful. We only stayed for 1 night but was a special night celebrating partners birthday, they put a balloon in the room for us and also gave a happy birthday dessert to my missus! Made it just that little more special. The beds were comfy with good choice of pillows! View was nice also from room. Pool facilities were nice! Only downside was if wanted to sit on a bed you couldnt as people at towels on them to 'use' them even though everyone was in the pool or away. Would stay here again! Lovely place! Thank you "
