"Only stayed for one night on my way to a different city. Hôtel was nice and staff was friendly. Seemed clean throughout the building. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke even though it was a smoke free room (the smell could have came from another room). Also, the towel provided had makeup on it from a previous resident. Long Weekend in Basel

"I am usually in Basel at least once a year and of the four or five hotels I have stayed in this is definitely my favourite. It is conveniently located for the centre of the city and buses to the airport and railway stations and all of the staff on the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a large room, offered a late checkout and a discount voucher for food and non-alcoholic drinks, all of which were much appreciated. "
