"The public dorm rooms are actually really nice, offering a small kitchenette to cook for yourself and whichever friends from around the world you may meet. The Santoku is a little grocery store that's literally adjacent to the building, and everything else is actually within a good distance for walking too. I would come back in a heartbeat. "

"Nice family friendly property with walkable distance from Metro station and close by convenience stores. All required utensils and rice cooker a big plus. Neat and clean. Self check-in was well guided and checkout was even more easy. "

"The place was near restaurants. We walked and chose where we ate. The area was quiet the place was not that clean to our standards but it’s okay. There was a washing machine if you want to wash your clothes and you can dry the clothes a small balcony. Nobody at the check in counter all communication were in the iPad. It would be nice if there is an easy way to communicate with somebody like in our case that we extended the check out time. Maybe the iPad at the counter can be used for that...

"This property was lovely. Great room with plenty of storage to 2 suitcases and all our souvenirs. We had a bit of trouble working out the shower and bath setup. Everything else was beyond our expectations. Great views of the river & Skytree. Luggage storage was very secure. And they called a taxi for us to head off which arrived quickly."

"We booked this hotel because it was very cheap. It had tons of amenities, full kitchen, laundry. This is far from hotel quality. It was self check-in and they email the entry codes 30min before check-in so try to have data or public wifi to get this information. First impressions was that it was very dirty and stained everywhere. It looked like it was lightly vacuumed and everything else pushed under the bed and couch. "I like their customer service because they can respond to my messages immediately and solve my problems. The property's outside environment is quite and safe, and walkable to public transportation. Walk from the property to the market is about 10 mintues and 7-11, family mart, and Lawson."

"It really felt like I was living in Japan rather than living as a tourist!! The manager was sitting outside of the property and checked me in instantly. He also had an assistant who helped carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs. You are given a key for your apartment unit and are responsible for not losing it. I think the responsibility of keeping the key safe shows that my belongings are safe, no matter how long they sit in my room ☆ I also recommend speaking to the manager if you see him...

"The property is easily accessible by train and there are supermarkets nearby. However the unit which we stayed in was not properly cleaned before check-in. Found a pink nail extension by floor beside the bed. Also some of the bath towels provided smell. "

"Location was great, about a 5 min walk to Ueno station and the nearby Ameyoko shopping street. The hotel is a bit more hidden, on a quiet street behind the Apa Hotel. Our room had a kitchenette but was smaller. The ad said a dining table would be included but we only had a desk so it was difficult for our family to eat in the room. The front carpeted foyer smelt a bit like mold. The bathroom and toilet were separate rooms which was handy, and they were clean. Be aware not to switch off the hot...

"My husband and I stayed here for our first time visit to Tokyo and it was perfect. The airport limousine from Haneda happened to arrive right at the front door of the hotel which was really convenient. The location is super central and easy walking distance to explore the Shinjuku area and also to the train station. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect - spacious, modern and clean, with a super comfortable king bed. We stayed during the weekend and whilst Shinjuku was packed, there was no noise in the room at all at level 35. Couldn’t have asked for anything more - perfect! "
