"Outstanding hotel and staffs. Service is second to none. They exhibited the traditional Japanese hospitality and treated guests with respect. This is the best hotel I experienced in the past several years in Japan. On the 5th floor, the gorgeous Fuji mountain is like right on your backyard. The dinner and breakfast were super. "This is a very nice hotel, the rooms ae large and comfortable, but you have to be okay with futons on teh floor. It is right across from the lake and within walking distance of the Rope line, boat tours and restaurants and cafes. The Hot springs pools are gender separated and in traditional Japanese style, with an outdoor pool and a hotter indoor poole and full showering and washing with shampoo and soap. A very good place with a free shuttle from the station."
