"Staff Reception and Management were all fantastic! Our stay was at a time just after the major storm but nothing was too much. I had flown in from Portugal but the stories I heard from local people who the hotel had looked after during this awful time was amazing. Well done The Ellison. "We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.) The Tourmakaedy waterfall & church ruins were close by & worth a 2nd visit. We had the time of our lives & felt like guests in a relative's home. Thomas & Eileen, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Your hospitality was top notch. Our bed was very comfortable & my hubby is very picky & showers were hot & had great pressure. I miss seeing the sheep out the windows every morning & the 2 bucks that greeted me from the other side of the kitchen door 1 morning. "

"This is a lovely place to stay. Very warm and cosy and well-organised. Lots of hot water. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. "

"So our stay started off great! Lovey spacious family room with a smart tv to watch Netflix on so kids were delighted. However at around 12.30am the couple next door decided to have a domestic and our kids got scared listening to this. Adam the night porter moved us to another room within minutes of asking him. The room we got to smelled of smoke and paint which wasn’t ideal however the next morning we were moved to a similar room from the first night! In fairness the hotel couldn’t know that 2 w**kers would start killing each other but they done absolutely everything they could to facilitate us! Dinner was beautiful breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! I would recommend anyone to stay here it’s just outside the town so there’s no noise at night and a good nights sleep is guaranteed considering no one decides to be Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson next door to you!! Thank you to everyone for your enjoyable and easy stay. We will be back again !!!"

"I always stay at The Park when visiting Mayo...and The Park just keeps getting better! The breakfasts and lunches and dinners are outstanding. The service is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable. The room cleanliness is exceptional.The location is great, too. I come in from the USA, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else."

"Staff very attentive and friendly in lounge/restaurant at night and at breakfast following morning. Plenty to do in Tubercurry including a theatre. The car park is at the back of property so you have to come in a back door and go all the way through breakfast room and lounge to get to reception. No heating on in room when we arrived and took a while to heat but was lovely and cosy then. Double bed ok for one but not so comfortable for two. Pillows were good tho. "
