"We stayed at these properties two years ago and had a wonderful stay. Our stay this time was lovely but was disrupted by tree cutting daily following the recent storms. It wouldn’t have been so bad had this not been right next to our property. We also had my terminally ill aunt with us so this disturbed her times of rest. "This was not what I expected. The listing states “just a few minutes walk “ to restaurants, shops, etc. I’m thinking that walk would have been 20-30 minutes…and getting back would have been all uphill. The property itself was ok. Provided what we needed…but definitely furnished and equipped as cheaply as possible. It could use some new paint on the walls, or some cleaning of walls. Also to get hot water upstairs - there’s a switch on the wall in hallway. Would have been helpful to know that...
