"It’s a good hostel for a short stay, the showers seem to be brand new and the place is quite clean. There was a really weird smell in my dorm though (it was a mixed dorm) and some people were REALLY noisy. One of them would pace back and forth between the bunks in the morning, which was bizarre. Some had had too much to drink and others seemed quite hostile. As if other people had it easier than them… Just because people don’t complain it doesn’t mean they have a cushy life. One of my gripes...

"Nice hostel. Man and women use the same toilet and shower so not feel comfortable , especially when just finished shower can not just walk out until put all proper clothes on and wet in shower could not dress up easy in the shower room. No curtain cover no privacy as every one can see eachother. "

"Excellent value for a sole traveller on the quayside in Bristol. Booked a 6 bed room but was given a 4 bed room. Excellent range of bars and restaurants nearby. Check out a bit early though at 10am , as Breakfast runs to 10 am also. "

"We found this space easy and convenient for our stay in Bedminster. Our room, on the ground floor shared space, was comfortable; felt quiet, private and secure. Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. "Plus: Warm and dry, and hot water in the showers. Also met some lovely people. Cons: Some of the guests and staff are not so lovely. Some of the men were discussing their experiences with prostitutes in the kitchen (there were children in the room) and one of the guests in my dorm was trying to pick up arguments, talking very loudly, slamming doors etc. Another one was on the phone (in the dorm) until nearly 11pm. "A lovely YHA hotel with comfy beds, cosy duvets and warm and welcoming staff!!"

"The fact the rock n bowl motel is very close to the strip of shops at Cabot circus, as well as a few bars only a couple minutes walk away was very convenient. There was plenty to do in the bar to start the night off and it was perfect for our lads weekend. The only issue we had was the cold showers. Only one shower in the block was warm, but besides that it’s exactly what you see on the pictures"
