We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "

"This historical home was beautifully appointed. You had everything you could ever need plus the most beautiful furnishings, a sauna, and space for a family gathering. I enjoyed playing the piano and taking advantage of the vintage record collection on the amazing speakers. Walk to The Exchange for fantastic food and drinks or to the performing arts center to take in a concert. One of the best parts? The hosts. "We were so pleased with this home. We were here with 3 families and the home set up and space could have not been more perfect. Great location and beautiful view of the mountain. The host was very quick to respond to our questions before arriving and we found the home had all the supplies we needed. Will definitely return again!"

"Perfect accommodations for our stay. Conveniently close to slopes such that you can walk there. Kids loved the loft area and kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. One recommendation is such that more wine glasses are needed. "

"Unit was very clean and as advertised. Maria was very responsive when we contacted her with questions. The location is just outside of Ithaca, so you will need to drive 15-20 minutes if you want your conveniences."

"Perfect for a family ski weekend. The house is located right across the street from the ski area. There is a shuttle but it is totally walkable. The house was well kept and spotless. There is a gas fireplace which keeps the living room nice and warm. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was running smoothly and we were happy. We would definitely come back again!"

Enough room for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped.The hosts thought of everything that a guest could possibly need including extra blankets and a basket of warm wool socks, perfect for curling up on the couch to enjoy the amazing views or a good book.It was immaculately clean, we would book this property again for sure!"

"We stayed for 2 nights to ski enroute to bringing our son back to Syracuse University. We didn’t want to leave. The home is well stocked, the beds are so comfortable, and the overall coziness is great. After a long day of skiing, the sauna was fantastic. Honestly, having been to numerals vrbos, this is on the top of my list. Many thanks to our hosts! "

Kitchen was well stocked with plates/cups/etc, there was plenty of parking in the driveway plus you could easily turnaround in it so you did not need to backup onto the road, bedrooms were comfortable and the yard was larger than I expected which was great since we stayed with our dog. "City girl needing some relaxation. The Hobbit house was adorable and came with everything we needed. We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the animals they have on the property. Will try and make it back!"
