"We stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely and very clean, as well as a great stocked kitchen ! "

"Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "

"The place was lovely! Historic property with a soul of hospitality. The outdoor sauna was perfect for the cold weather and relaxing. Curl up with a good book and enjoy this cute downtown only minutes from local bar, Dashers and the Exchange. We will definitely be returning to Homer and staying at this house at future dates. "

"We were so pleased with this home. We were here with 3 families and the home set up and space could have not been more perfect. Great location and beautiful view of the mountain. The host was very quick to respond to our questions before arriving and we found the home had all the supplies we needed. Will definitely return again!"

"This property was perfect. Enough room for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped.The hosts thought of everything that a guest could possibly need including extra blankets and a basket of warm wool socks, perfect for curling up on the couch to enjoy the amazing views or a good book.It was immaculately clean, we would book this property again for sure!"

"We stayed for 2 nights to ski enroute to bringing our son back to Syracuse University. We didn’t want to leave. The home is well stocked, the beds are so comfortable, and the overall coziness is great. After a long day of skiing, the sauna was fantastic. Honestly, having been to numerals vrbos, this is on the top of my list. Many thanks to our hosts! "

"City girl needing some relaxation. The Hobbit house was adorable and came with everything we needed. We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the animals they have on the property. Will try and make it back!"

"Cute cabin and nice property. Had all the essentials like a bath house, toilets, and wifi. Especially the wifi because I had no cell service but I could still text and call connected to wifi. The biggest seller to me is that it's dog friendly."
