"The Property has old world charm with its beautiful lobby and welcoming fire in fireplace. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very nice breakfasts each morning. Our stay was a bit challenging at times as I have some disabilities and there is no elevator and no clear walkway to the beach."

"My husband and I stayed here for the first time this weekend, just for one night. We booked a king room, first floor room, however, when I was checking in, we were given a third floor room. This hotel does not have elevators, so you have to go up 4 sets of stairs to the third floor. The room was clean and the bed was mostly comfortable. They do offer a limited breakfast (coffee, waffles, cereal) from 7am to 9am. This hotel is located on the bypass, close to Starbucks, CVS, 17th Street, JK's...

"Parking not easy. Fortunately we stayed during the off season so not many vehicles to maneuver around. Staff over the phone were very polite and helpful. "

"I liked that the property was directly ocean front, even though it was a rather stenious walk to get to the beach. The property had many, many stairs, so not ideal for older folks or those with disability. The pools were nice, never over crowded. We also enjoyed using the charcoal grills (would have been nice if they offered gas grills). "They gave our second room away because they over booked. Gave us a late check out to “make up for it” then proceeded to bang on our door and yell at us for not leaving at check out. "

"We had the best time at Cypress House. Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. We will be back! "
