"The room was amazing very clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfy. The shower was walk in and very hot. The view from our room shown the river and was very beautiful to look at The only thing about the room was the road traffic noise you could hear. The pub itself was very busy and the breakfast was really good. We also had a meal and that was brilliant too. The staff was very helpful and really informative. Would recommend a stay here."

"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. "Such a beautiful spot to have a pub/ hotel. The staff are friendly and polite and the food delicious. My only dislike was that even though we didn’t have a dog with us. Our room had clearly been used by someone who had a dog with them previously. The rooms could do with a paint in places and there were some huge cobwebs on the ceiling.
