"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. "This is an excellent hotel. Modern, stylish and located right in the heart of Exeter. For Americans who might not know: you can't actually take a taxi or drive right into the city center. Several blocks around the cathedral and in the district are pedestrian-only. So you get dropped off a couple of blocks from the property and have to walk the rest of the way. But it's still worth it: this hotel had great service, good amenities, and is worth it."
