The area is safe and quiet; it was close enough to Placencia (town) without being too crowded. We were able to make a few day trips to interesting sites, so the location was excellent. "The house is the perfect size for a small family. 2 Queen beds and the kitchen has all the amenities you could want. It’s right by the grocery store, beach, and Placencia Beach club. If you’re looking for a place to hang out with food, swim up bar, beach and pool the Placencia beach club is only 2 blocks away. Also 10 minutes to town with multiple restaurants along the way. I highly recommend."

"Was a beautiful, clean place to stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. We had a couple encounters with some critters during our stay but nothing you cant expect when staying in a tropical place. "

"It isnt possible to rate this property without some background on Hopkins and the area around the property. The house and land is amazing, you have your own private beach and the home is equipped with everything you need and then some, like an awesome sea kayak. Inside the home there are plenty of dishes, utensils, and everything you need outside of a dishwasher and washer/dryer. "We loved staying at Belizean Bliss and in Hopkins. Hopkins has so much great food and nice people (much nicer than the people we met in Hawaii last year). The house was super clean with a nice entry room/porch and many windows overlooking the sea.Many of the knick-knacks, throws, and paintings in the house are also available at the big gift store in town, which was a great local touch.If we changed one thing about our trip it would have been to drive ourselves less, rent a golf cart to go to...

"Everything was as it was said to be. The location was close enough to town but far enough away. The owner has thought of everything. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board everyday. We went to the waterfalls, mayan ruins and even cave tubing. There were quite a few options for meals if you didn't feel like cooking. Thank you for a lovely adventure. "Our stay in Hopkins was unbelievable. Our group of nine adults had plenty of space for congregating and privacy. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pool was comfortably heated, the beach cleaned and raked. Miss Shelley had a delicious dinner cooking for us when we arrived and Lester was readying the pool.
