"Awesome place easy to get to. We got in latd after delays at airpirt, but arrived and do easy getting into place. Much more thdn we needed gor just the 2 of us. Bezchftont was awesome, lits of pkaces neaf by to wslk yo gor food and groceries Love the traveling duck. Only thing I could add that was needed would of been nuce to have lounge chairs for the beach. Will definitely stay here again."

"The house was perfect for each family to have their own room - so spacious and comfortable. The teens shared the beds in the loft. We used the sea kayaks and the pool many times and loved the upper deck at night.Shelley and her crew greeted us upon arrival and got us nicely oriented to the house. We also used Shelley to prepare 6 meals total which made our vacation even more relaxing. The house is walkable to a few bars/restaurants but we drive to the grocery and options in “downtown” Hopkins."

"We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. "Would not recommend this house. Not very clean, house lacked maintenance and water isn’t potable. Buy water and ice for drinking. Far away from everything."

"We loved this property! The AC worked perfectly, the place was clean and tidy, the washer, dryer and wifi were nice touches. The frying pan was tricky as everything stuck no matter how much butter or oil we used. Sitting on the porch at night was really nice."

"Was a beautiful, clean place to stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. We had a couple encounters with some critters during our stay but nothing you cant expect when staying in a tropical place. "

"We had a wonderful stay in December. Check-in was easy, and the property was clean and well-stocked with all essential items. The area is safe and quiet; it was close enough to Placencia (town) without being too crowded. We were able to make a few day trips to interesting sites, so the location was excellent. Would stay there again!"

"The house is lovely and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. The beach is heavenly, and well-kept. The owners provide lots of helpful information, and so many thoughtful touches (like beach towels) and supplies (such as cabinets filled with items left by other travelers, everything from sunscreens and bug sprays to canned tuna and vodka!) that you are free to use. "We loved staying here for our family vacations. It’s right on the water and the ocean is warm and shallow, perfect for the kids to swim and play. It’s a close location to explore the jungle and take a boat out to the Cayes. We cooked several meals at home and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed a few restaurants at the resorts nearby and in the Hopkins Village. "

"Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. "

"Had lots of little bugs in our villa. Could use a few more railings as floors get slippery when wet. Food was excellent. Beach was beautiful but found a few glass and plastic bottle pieces in sand, Not good for bare feet. 2 lovely and clean pools for non sea swimmers. Would recommend this resort."

"We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful from the view to the accommodations. The staff is AMAZING! Vanessa was our favorite as we spent the most time with her. We loved our personalized notes each night as well. The only negative is that the huge balcony only had a small sofa type bench to utilize. Would have loved to have a small table and chairs with a couple lounges. "

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"
