"Everyone was so nice and helpful. Great room and perfect place in town. So many food choices in walkable distance. Rode bike all around and felt safe everywhere. Would definitely stay again!"

"What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk."

"I was traveling with my my 17 year old daughter. I did not feel safe and left within 5 minutes of arriving. We travel all over the USA and we've stayed in san pedro and San ignacio. We are not divas by any means. We love to camp so when I say it was bad it was. The door handle did not latch let alone lock. There was a dead bolt that worked. Nine of the windows locked. "Owners questioned why our stay was only three nights. They had it right. Too short. Candace is the best personal concierge ever. Take her suggestions and you cannot go wrong. Exploring Placencia on your own works as well. Wonderful place and people."

"Absolutely stunning. We rented 4 units and had a total of 18 all together. The facilities were amazing. The staff were friendly and super helpful. We were concerned about the construction but seriously it was not an issue and everything was kept very clean. Pool was super clean. Hot tub was great. The cabana by the pool was a great place to hangout and we spent evenings out on the private covered pier. We can’t wait to book again for another trip. Thank you to Herbert who was very helpful....

"Super convenient to walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Office staff was awesome, could not have been more nice. Just two old ladies traveling who were taken care of and felt very safe. The beach is close and beautiful!"

"The apartment was very clean, spacious and in a great location for the price. The pool was very nice, and cool after a hot day of touring. The wifi is weak, but seventeen.it is also very quiet condemn there is a popular bar just steps away. Communication with the host was spot on, they even held a parking space for us!"

"The setting was beautiful. Our unit was spotlessly clean and had beautiful views. The employees were all very friendly and we had all of our needs met. My only complaint had nothing to do with the resort. The beaches are not clean. It was heartbreaking for me to walk each morning and see the amount of trash mostly plastic on all of the surrounding beaches. Maybe the resort could offer some type of incentive. A free drink in exchange for a bag of garbage. I would come back to this place but...

"First off, the owners and manager are awesome. They are very responsive, and communicate very well. The location was perfect for us, in the middle of Hopkins town. You are able to get the feel for day to day life of the residence. The people were fantastic. The place is nice and quaint, but we loved it. My wife and I both agree, the only thing it was lacking was a couch in the lounge. But honesty, we loved the place and our time in Belize. Nice work!!"

"Serene Beach resort with amazing water activities. Fun thoughtout ways to enjoy your stay from the pool, firepit with marshmallows, included paddleboards kayaks, bicycles, and big dock peir with rope net lounge over the ocean. Golf carts available to rent. Location is close to the village made exploring, eating, and enjoying the culture easy. One and only downside is one night the dock and pool bars and the pizzeria eatery would be open the next night they would be closed. Not to big of an issue as the Paddlehouse restaurant and bar was open at all times. If ever in Belize again would definitely stay here again."

"We loved every part of our stay here, the trees, plants, lighting, the layout, the pool, THE BEACH ( beautiful) the paddle boards👍 ) the sheets and bed were so soft. The food was great! The staff were so welcoming and kind, we can’t wait to come back next year! "

"Mariposa is located on the beautiful beach.The resort is very small and creates very cozy and private environment The resort is well maintained very close to local airport. They have little restaurant but we had rental car and explored local Placencia restaurants. The staff is very friendly. We booked treehouse but they have construction on the property grounds. The manager offered for us beachfront room that was quiet and far away from the construction site . We really appreciated the upgrade. We stayed in this resort for a second time and never been disappointed. Thank you all the staff and manger for awesome vocation. We will come back."
