"It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The rooms were a little bit run down visually, but clean and all room amenities were provided. Loved the service. Got help from staff with ease when our room cards stopped working one night. All in all a solid 4.5/5 experience."

"close to shrine, it's nice to go there early morning or late at night without the crowds. a lot of late-night dining options, shopping, and a two-minute walk to don quijote (always crowded). this area is very lively. the room is slightly larger than the double tokyo rooms we've stayed in. there was room to move around o be able to open our luggages without taking away floor space."

"Hotel is just off the Tozai rail line, which is incredibly convenient, though during my stay it was certainly one of the more crowded lines. The single rooms are compact, with just enough space to unpack, store souvineirs, and be comfortable after a long day. The rooms themselves and the surroundings are also very quiet. If you're okay with a bit of a crowded train ride no matter which direction you're headed, it's a very nice hotel."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! First off, the hotel itself is beautiful and our view... wow, our view was gorgeous especially after arriving at night after a long long overseas flight. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was close to the train station and 7-11 (love!!!) yet quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. If we wanted to get anywhere, it was a short walk to the major train station. We would definitely go back if we have the chance to visit Japan again. "
