"This was my first time staying here, and I would definitely stay here again! It was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the homemade breakfasts were delicious! Buck and Cleo were very friendly, as were the other guests who I met during my stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Booked a room with a private bathroom. Close to both Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. "

"What a truly great experience. Having been in Keene Valley in the same house 50 years ago, it was a pleasure to see it being cared for and run and such a beautiful way. Kelly, the manager, couldn’t have been More delightful. Preparing breakfast and always there for questions or advice on where to go out to dinner or tge next mountain to climb.. It was a perfect weekend and I’m looking forward to going back thank you Keene valley lodge."

"We spent one day and night at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Whiteface mountains. Very home like atmosphere. Nice rooms with everything you need. Owner of the place very nice and helpful. Lots of toys for kids to play with. My 2 and 4 year old had a blast there. Huge living room with tables board games tv etc. I would definitely recommend it and come back there again."

Our host Jeff was lovely, prepared a light healthy breakfast each day and always had a recommendation for our day trips. At first glance, the cottage was nicely furnished and neat. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "
