"This Ryokan was amazing. The staff were welcoming and gracious. The rooms are huge and traditional japanese style with futons and tatami mats. Each room had its own separate hot spring bath as well as separate men's and women's shared baths. The food was delicious and filling. It is located in a great small town nestled in a mountain valley. A quiet respite from the big city. Would definitely stay again! "

"Great inn in Izu Kogen. Good food, welcoming staff, nice baths, large rooms, and lots of activities (e.g. pottery making, etc.). Only suggestion would be that a few parts of the inn need a very small amount of maintenance. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked a room with a private onsen and included the dinner and breakfast meal plan. The views were incredible, the food amazing and the staff was very helpful pointing out the laundry facilities and a pedestrian walking path nearby. They even gave us sparklers to light on the beach for our last night. Hope to stay again!"

"This is a great value property close to Shimoda and the railway station. All rooms are slightly different in layout and are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I booked a room with a shower for both my stays. Windows are double glazed making the rooms very quiet. There are two private onsen for the use of the guests, which are wonderful. "Beautiful traditional Ryokan experience. Staff were absolutely a highlight, especially the manager who even gave us a ride to the station after our stay. The open air onsen was stunning, rejuvenating, not crowded, and you even get to take a cable car up to it which added to the charm for me. I am a tattooed person, and I doubted I would be able to enjoy the onsen since tattoos are usually not allowed.
