"The place was falling apart and very dirty. There were splashes of food and cobwebs on the walls, long hairs in the bathroom, leaves and debris in the fridge, and something in the hall closet had a rancid smell that permeated into the bedroom. Upon expressing this concern to the management they told us to turn on some airflow and that they'd look at it *after* we checked out. Not helpful at all. Don't be fooled by the pictures, the place is in terrible shape, with holes in the doors, and things...

"The property was very clean and spacious. The hosts instructions were very clear with lots of information about nearby shopping, restaurants and hot springs. The car park was very close to the property as well as the station being one minute away. The beach is also a one minute walk. I highly recommend this property for both small and large groups. "

"It is not a two bedroom place, the bath tub area has stains and mold. It also smelled like cigarettes, due to the people next door. Needless to say, we left immediately and did NOT stay there. I have never given a poor review, but this place deserves it. In addition, whoever owns or manages it, was completely non-responsive."

"This was a really comfortable, stylish, well equipped, clean and well looked after house with a great, relaxing atmosphere that allowed us to switch off and recharge our batteries. The onsen was great and big enough for us to go in as a family. The house was convenient for where we wanted to go and the cafe that we visited from the host’s recommendations was very tasty and atmospheric. "Amazing and beautiful hotel. We got the Mt.Fuji view but didn’t get to see it because it was cloudy and rainy when we stayed. The dinner was not what I had expected for the price we paid. But the breakfast buffet was worth it and much better! I will stay there again for the private onsen and golf course in the future. Shared public Amenties with the Marriott which we had no idea but good to know in the future. The shuttle bus was convenient. "

"This hotel was the best one we stayed in. Not only was the room huge but they had an onsen right in property. Another big thing for me was they let you do laundry for free with all the products for it too. It's also right on the beach and they offer free lockers and showers!"

"At first I wasn't sure about this property being so far away from Mount Fuji (the reason we were in the area) however, we got there and the hotel is beautiful and the staff was very nice to us. The room was amazing and clean. the shower and body wash/shampoo/conditioner were all very statisfactory. We would love to stop by again if we are in the area. "

Lovely place

"Stayed at this place for Kawazu Sakura Matsuri. This place is right by the beach and it is so soothing to watch the sea from our room or from the lobby. It is also just a few minutes away from the Sakura strip. The onsen was great and the area was clean and neat. Breakfast and dinner are awesome.wonderful showcase of regional seasonal ingredients. The room was spacious with good view. Staff are nice. Though they may not speak English well, they emailed me ahead of time so that I have the idea about what to expect. Great place to stay in kawazu. "
