More importantly, we felt like a welcomed part of the community from the moment we met our driver who transported us to the hotel ( shoutout to Moloka'i Outdoors) to check in through our stay. The nightly local musicians at the restaurant were all wonderful and the view of the sunset is awe inspiring!"

You couldn’t ask for a more accommodating Host, in Annie. She was always available and willing to help with needs and answer questions. "My husband and I throughly enjoyed our first time on Molokai. It feels like Hawaii from 1950! Even though we could not visit Kalaupapa (closed by National Park Service) we felt there were plenty of things to do. We found great beaches, especially Papohaku Beach, and the whale watching was incredible from the condo's wonderful second-story balcony. Every morning we sat on the balcony with breakfast and watched the whales dance. The condo is a bit dated, but is well appointed, with good kitchen...

"We loved the prime location near the shallow south coast and the tropical west coast. We were not able to access Wi-fi while we were there, which was a frustration. The host did try to help us resolve it. I was warned ahead of time that WiFi in general on Molokai can be hard to get reliably so it didn't really affect our trip. Since the point of Molokai is to unplug and unwind, it actually ended up being a benefit."

"We viewed several rooms at Molokai Shores, and this was by far the most well-appointed. It features a Tempurpedic adjustable bed, comfortable furniture, and high-quality kitchen appliances. While the view is good, it is somewhat more obstructed compared to other units. That said, the space is exceptionally clean and provides a comfortable stay—an excellent choice for anyone visiting Molokai."
