"We enjoyed the location - walk to a beach for sunrise and kayak in the evening on the river. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and it was fantastic to have a kitchen with a nice size refrigerator. There was even free laundry on premise! Complimentary beach gear and kayak equipment were available. The grounds would have benefited from more watering and love. We look forward to a return visit."

"This property was located in a great, central location for our princeville stay. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go, yet felt secluded and private. A little ac would've been nice, but we are from New england, so not as used to the warmer temperatures. Property was very clean and host was accommodating! Overall great stay "

"We got in late & were very tired The ease of getting into the cottage was very smooth. It is a charming cottage, but needs a couple home improvement issues addressed like the sliding door of the upstairs bedroom, one of the doors seemed to be off the hinge & the carpet downstairs has kind of an odor. I always travel with a diffuser, so no big deal. All in all, we had a lovely stay. Close to the beach, great location, quiet & peaceful. Would stay again. Thank you!"

"This was my third time staying at the Turtle House and my first time bringing extended family. My in-laws were visiting Hawaii for the first time, and we wanted to bring them to Kauai because it's our favorite island! "Poipu crater was so magnificent, walking distance to the pool and beach. Condo was a little out dated, but hey you’re in Kaua’i what more could you need! The condo was perfect for 2 couples! Or even for a family. Was a great place to spend our vacation. The only negative thing was that the HOA president and his wife are very rude, accusatory, and snooty."

"This was a great property. We spent most of our time on the wonderful front porch. The outdoor shower was amazing after a day at the beach. Property management was extremely attentive and quick to our request for boogie boards and a new coffee maker. We can’t wait to return."

"Property was in a very quiet neighborhood. Stayed for 5 nights. Two beers provided was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. To access property use the first driveway right after the 3900 driveway. We pulled in the wrong driveway and called and the host answered right away and got us sorted out quickly. Limited pans in kitchen and no cookie sheets. "

"Really enjoyed walk-in to the beach from the house and being near enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Town has everything needed for a stay. Having air conditioning and fans was a bonus. "Upon arrival I was a bit confused by the Outrigger and Kauai Villas as they sit side by side. Counter staff was friendly and welcoming. Good to see that we could use the Outrigger's three pools and restaurant but unknown why we couldn't use their gym. Arriving to the room, the view out the sliding window was breathtaking; direct view of ocean waves crashing; it was phenomenal. The room itself looked to be a timeshare that was converted into a vacation villa. Furniture was a bit outdated...
