"First and foremost, the location was the main draw. Right near the heart of downtown. Apartment located above owner's restaurant. The Wifi was not accessible. I solely used the room to sleep, so it wasn't a huge deal. The walk from Amsterdam Centraal was LONG (~30 min), so use the public transit. The view from the room was nothing to write home about. Listing was a bit misleading as there are pictures of nice Amsterdam views which are not actually from the apartment. It is a shared space with...

"Quiet and lovely place"

"The apartment is in an excellent location surrounded by boutique shops, cafe’s and restaurants there is loads within a short walk. The apartment is a good size with nice living room and large bathroom. They provide us a cot for the baby and were great communicating with us. Apartment could probably do with a lick of paint and a few touches like a shelf in the shower and a few more bits in the kitchen but otherwise good. Overall all a really pleasant stay! "

"Wunderschöner Urlaub Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbraucht. Das Haus ist gemütlich und wie beschrieben. Es war sehr sauber und mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern war hervorragend. Sogar Abends um 22:00 hatten Sie ein offenes Ohr und lösten unser Problem mit mit der verschlossenen Türe innert einer viertel Stunde (Achtung die Türe hat von aussen keine Türfalle). Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und das Ijsselmeer in ein paar Minuten zu Fuss...

"It was RIDICULOUS to have this space on VRBO and not make it clear you would have to rent towels and sheets to stay comfortably. Added at least $125 to our stay for 5 people. Also be aware that an UBER from Amsterdam centrale will run you $50 USD and both times they got lost. Walk from Europarc to train platform is 30 min and then a quick 10 min train to the city. This would be a nice stay if you had a car and needed some quiet time…but be aware that the airport must be nearby with the number...

"Aufenthalt war sehr gut Es fehlen im Bad Ablageflächen und Haken für die Handtücher. Im Anbau 3 Schlafzimmer ebenso und dort Gab es keine Toiletten Bürste und kein Halter für Toilettenpapier. Sonst war alles super."

"Haus und Bilder wie in der Beschreibung. Für uns lag es gut um Städte wie Alkmar, Bergen, Amsterdam etc zu besuchen. Wijk an Zee ist ein sehr kleiner Ort mit schönen Strandpavillons, das besagte Stahlwerk am Ort hat 1-2mal etwas für seltsame Gerüche gesorgt, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. "

"Es war ein wunderbarer Kurzurlaub! Es hat alles geklappt, das Ferienhaus war für uns Familie ( 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder 7 u.fast 3) genau richtig. Der Ort ist wunderschön gelegen, in der nächsten kleinen Stadt gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten anzugucken. Von dort nach Amsterdam ist kein Problem. Wir kommen wieder!"
