"Good: excellent service, clean rooms, quiet, 10 minute walk from train station and 15 minute walk from Omicho Market. Bad: super extra hard bed (even more than usual for Japan), dirty onsen (hair in the pools, mold, bugs, etc.), breakfast was ¥1100 instead of ¥750 that it says online and it wasn't very good, WiFi in my room kept cutting out."

"This place is infested with cockroaches. Told the staff when we saw cockroaches in our first room. Got given a new room and still infested with cockroaches. We accept that the rooms are basic and dated for the price we paid. But it's not dirt cheap enough to expect customers to put up with cockroaches. Expedia should consider remove it from its listing. "We absolutely loved this hotel! They had free drinks in our rooms mini fridge, we had a free udon meal in the evening that they prepared while we waited in the downstairs lobby.
