"Amazing location right off the decades old lava flow that takes you to the ocean! Gorgeous surroundings and quaint haunts just down the road. Nice area to explore and quick drive to all sorts of things to see and do! The home is well appointed, the bed super comfortable, and the ocean breezes, the sound of the waves and the coconut tree reeds blowing in the wind lulled us to sleep each night! Great stay here and highly recommend! Owner is good communicator and very responsive to questions...

"We visited the area with the main purpose of attending Uncle Robert’s Night Market, and this location was very convenient for that. The correspondence from the hosts was very detailed and instructions for getting there and checking in were very detailed and helpful. The WiFi was excellent. We spent the next morning exploring the beautiful vistas along the Red Road, and this was an excellent location for that as well. Would definitely recommend."

"Unit is in a separate building with several units. Ours was the farthest to the left and very nice. The rain at night was slightly loud on the metal roof but not so that it was a problem. The location is good for activities in the area. Only regret is not meeting the host."

"This is not a luxury resort, this is a wonderful little slice of rural Puna. This was my second stay, and definitely not my last. Don’t expect luxury amenities because that isn’t what this place is. It is a charming little room in the middle of an ohia forest."
