"This rental has a spectacular view! We are thrilled that we were able to spot Humpback whales every day from the lanai. We watched outrigger canoe groups, kayakers, and other boats. Each day was concluded watching the sunset hoping to see the green flash. And we enjoyed the.sweet little birds keeping us company by the lanai. The rental is clean, comfortable, well stocked. Edgar, the owner, was very attentive when a couple of questions came up, which we greatly appreciate. "

"Home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a great view. The pool was warm with a fairly loud waterfall which runs all day. The owner reached out to make sure we were good and was quick to respond to inquiries. Kitchen had everything we needed. House was clean with a good floor plan. "

"It is a very lovely home. We had 10 ranging from 9-76 years of age, everyone enjoyed. Beautiful home and breathtaking views. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you! "

"Outstanding location, right on the water, with great views and a real feeling of being at a private resort. Wonderful features and lay out. Property managers were very responsive and solved a small problem immediately. "

"We loved our stay here! The space was clean and had everything we could have needed. The hosts have thought of everything with a well stocked kitchen, soft towels, beach gear, towels and more. We loved drinking coffee on the big deck. Other reviews had us a little concerned about being woken up by roosters, but we closed the windows at night and turned on sound machines (one they provided and one we brought) and it wasn’t a problem at all. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our stay was great. It’s a little dated but it was completely fine for us. We liked being away from the crowds and people and enjoyed the chickens and peacocks. The road is a little steep but manageable. Just go slow. I would stay here again. "

"This is a beautiful property! Located in a gated community that is easy to access. The home was just a luxury place to be while on the island. "

"The view from the upstairs deck is so amazing. We brought binoculars and we could see dolphins across the bay. While we were there the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well stocked. I found the photos of the house misleading due to the house being more worn out than is shown in the photos. The bathroom upstairs is small. The setup downstairs is odd. The downstairs rooms are not connected with the upstairs and so families should be aware that those rooms would not work for small...

"The condo is a decent size for a family of four. It is furnished very nicely with everything you need. The supplies in the kitchen and throughout are of good quality. Some of the nicest heavy silverware from any place I have stayed. It is nice that some leftover condiments are left for the next guest. The air conditioning is a big plus since it gets hot in the afternoon, and it helps drown out the loud surf during the night. The location is great, walking distance to many stores and restaurants....

"Tammy and Joe have created the perfect Big Island getaway. Everything — interiors and exteriors, furniture — was so inviting, ultra-clean and comfortable. The kitchen (and its contents/equipment) is a dream, as is the barbecue area. We didn’t want to leave, and most certainly will book back soon. Mahalo nui loa!"

"This property was really nice and close so that you could walk to restaurants and stores. Very clean and quiet. Only two suggestions....1. Update pillows and possibly mattress. 2. New procedure to open gates and doors is a 6 digit code. This is to help with security. But kids has access to the grounds and also can reach over the door and open it without the code. Not as secure as it should be. "

"This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. Which was a nice surprise. Parking was effortless with lots of spaces available. Communication with the owner was easy. One more thing to note- they...

No 2bdrm units available

"We love Kona Coast resort. Have been staying there 2 to 3 times a year for about 15 years. In the past 2 years we have been unable to reserve a 2 bdrm through a travel site. Only 1 bdrm are offered. I saw why while spending time at the pool. Completely full of kids and babies. They must be saving the 2 bdrm units for the time share clients with families. Bummers because that’s where the bar is located."

"The people who worked there were so friendly and the room was so clean. It was so convenient to be able to check out a bike and ride around town. I would reccomend anyone to stay here who is visiting Kona and I definitely would stay there again if on a trip there to Kona. (unless I can just move to Kona of course, however I'd still stay there anytime given the opportunity)"

"I wasn't sure what to expect, but I shouldn't have been worried at all. Super cute boutique hotel with EXCELLENT amenities/landscaping. My room was decorated with vintage Tiki prints and linens. Everything was sparkling clean with attention to travelers needs - local insights, pool towels, beach equipment, ice for coolers and more. Harris gave me a quick tour of the property and as a solo, older woman traveler, I felt at home. The pool was so refreshing. Parking was tight, but not an issue. The property/mt room was on the waterfront with seawall views of the sunset. Waves crashing all night, the sound was magical. I will be back! Thank you Kona Tiki Hotel, I'm a fan. "

"Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the ocean with also the sounds of the ocean waves. The staff was responsive and friendly. So close to Kahalu’u Beach Park with wonderful snorkeling. The room does not have air-conditioning, but it has wonderful louvered windows and a ceiling fan, and also a room fan which we didn’t need in February."
