"Great hotel. Door lock broke twice same day making for frustrating experience waiting for engineers to fix. Staff refused to add 1 hour later check out despite hotel half full and my diamond status. All dialed in to charge for everything extra. Poor value "

"Fabulous stay! We love the Marriott; attentive, professional staff, wonderful food and beautiful grounds. HOWEVER, this is NOT a particularly handicap friendly property; the room doors are quite heavy making it challenging to hold the door open while maneuvering a wheelchair. "Considering how much less it cost than nearby non-resort hotels, I was astounded at how nice this property was. The washer and dryer and multiple bedrooms/bathrooms were excellent, and I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and condition of the unit. "Across the street from two gorgeous beaches, one mostly sand, the nearer one with volcanic rocks which yield some fun tide-pools. Very short walk to three strip-malls, full of stores and restaurants: seafood, Mexican, Thai, fine dining, coffee, ice cream, shave ice--it's all an easy walk. "Clean and amazing place to stay. Walk to the shops and dining in Wailea or no Kihei Town. Tons of accessibility. Facility is beautifully maintained and quiet. "We enjoyed our stay at Maui Aston Hill. They were hospitable and it’s a nice property with games for my kids like shuffleboard and bocce. The pool and hot tub were quite nice though a bit exposed. Excellent location for different beaches. Visit Donya at the activity desk, she hooked us up with snorkeling and zip lining! Got the extra mile to Safeway, do not go to Foodland.
