Staff is friendly and helpful, the hot tub is a huge plus although you may need to learn the manner of using it beforehand and it's a bit small, the capacity is 2 persons. "The views were amazing. A perfect position to watch the sunset and sunrise over Osaka and Mino'o forest. The hospitality of the staff was so kind in a way I've never experienced before, they felt very heartwarming and welcoming. "It was super easy to walk to from the metro. The area was quiet, peaceful, and there was a great area for shopping and eating. Nara park was not far. The ryokan was incredible and the temperature was perfect. The rooms were super clean and I love that they provided amenities. "

"Great location - barely 2 blocks away from the train station. The host, Sugita, that greeted us was fluent in English! She was very hospitable and gave us information/recommendations around the area. The mall across the bridge has many cute stores and food to check out. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful. We got a room with a private onsen, facing the water - beautiful view. Strongly recommend!"
