"It was difficult sorting through the thousands of hotels to stay at in Barcelona but I heard Eixample was a great neighborhood to stay in and I agree! It's safe and quiet and the hotel is about a 3 minute walk to the nearest metro. I booked this hotel because majority of the reviews were positive and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, our room was clean and spacious, and I felt safe. There was a mini fridge and safe in our room. Plenty of amenities like towels, tissue paper, soap/shampoo/conditioner, etc. We didn't try the breakfast but I saw many great reviews on it. Lots of great and highly-rated restaurants nearby and a grocery/convenience store right around the corner. Also a 15 minute walk to the Sagrada familia. One thing to note is that since the metro is underground, you can hear it every few minutes but it's nothing terrible and you can't avoid this even at restaurants. This location was amazing and the hotel was great. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to BCN. "
