They appreciated the original wood finishes and beach artifacts throughout the house and particularly the great view of and proximity to Racine's famous North Beach right across the street. In fact, 8 members of the group participated in the annual New Year's Day Splash & Dash into Lake Michigan!Host Mike was very welcoming and easily available from beginning to end of the stay, with ongoing inquiries to insure the comfort of his guests."

"The property is lovely. A quick walk to the beach, which even in the winter, was absolutely wonderful to experience. During the first part of the stay there was snow. Bought sleds for everyone to use on the hills. The end of our trip saw all the snow gone and we were able to visit the lighthouse. Not only does the property contain a washer/dryer in the basement, there’s also a 1 car garage we could use. The host(s) are wonderful. The property contained all the little extras a traveling family needs and then some. They graciously decorated the home with holiday decorations which meant a lot to us. Fantastic communication and incredible attention to detail. Thank you to our host (s) for their hospitality and kindness. Anyone would appreciate this rental. The beach is lovely and very clean. The home appears to be recently renovated and is quite comfortable and cozy. "

"The Marina District Rental was a spacious and comfortable property, close to the Root River and Lake Michigan. The renovation that transformed an 1850's factory was quite remarkable. The kitchen was updated and fully equipped. The property featured an open concept main living area and even more room to spread out on the lower level.
