Great location close to Lake Michigan and tourist attractions. Plenty of rooms for a larger family. Well stocked and clean. Would definitely recommend!
We had a great time and highly recommend this property. The owners were gracious hosts and communicated well throughout the process.
We look forward to returning in the future.
The house was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We hosted our rehearsal dinner there and everyone said how amazing the place was! So clean and decorated so cute! I messaged the owners questions and they always messaged me back immediately, and were so accommodating! They made my wedding weekend so much easier! I highly recommend staying here, I know I will again!
The location of this property in the historic area is lovely and convenient to family activities such as parks, playground, beach, zoo. The house is spacious with nice personal touches by the hosts such as fresh flowers and local bakery goodies. It was easy to communicate with Dan and Ann, and they replied promptly. It has a spacious, beautiful yard and landscaping, plus Lake Michigan is only blocks away and an easy walk to enjoy.
This is a nice home with 4 bedrooms. It can accommodate a large family. There is a tv in all the rooms. It has a nice living room and kitchen with a nice stove and refrigerator. It is very homey and very comfortable. The home is close to shopping and restaurants only a short drive away and only a few blocks from the lake. My family wanted to stay longer.
Owner were responsive and very accommodating for us. Property was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful old home with tons of modern updates for everyone. We stayed there while in Racine for a wedding and the outdoor patio area was great place to have a some of the wedding party over to visit. Will definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay! The house is a great size for our big family. We traveled with grandparents, teenagers and a baby. It is close to a nice beach and about 40 mins to the Milwaukee zoo. It was a very nice and relaxing few days staying at this property. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are great.
We hosted our daughter’s wedding at The beautiful Dekoven Center. We stayed at this 1850s home on brick road in a lovely Racine neighborhood a few blocks from our wedding venue. It hosted my husband and me, our daughters and her bridal party. Charming home w lots of character.
Loved the blue tooth in the shower.
Hosts were wonderful! 10 stars!!!!
The house was clean, beds were comfy and the owners made sure to have everything on hand that we may need. We even needed an extra folding chair for the tournament on the beach and they had that too! I highly recommend this property!
The house is well situated, just minutes from the lake and Main Street. We felt completely at home; the owners have decorated and appointed the house beautifully - every detail has been considered and implemented. Communication was easy and they solved issues (i.e. getting the drive shovelled in a snow storm) before we could even ask about them. The back porch and yard are wonderful for relaxing. We loved the house and the neighbourhood and found it difficult to leave!
We had an excellent stay at this beautiful historic home in Racine. The house was immaculate, and the decorations and antiques were a beautiful touch. Our host was very kind and flexible with check in, and even left us a Racine kringle for our stay. We will absolutely be booking again the next time we need a place to stay with space for all of our friends/family! Thanks again.
Clean, nicely furnished, remodeled home with lots of rich history, comfortable beds (found my sleep number) and a super cool back porch and back yard. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with tons of character and cool architecture. We loved the walks and runs along the lake in the parks that were just blocks away. Two thumbs up for this one!
My family of 7 and I had a great time. The home was clean and it's decor is cute. There was enough space and rooms for all of us to feel comfortable. The small details provided by the owners such as the welcome card, flowers, and snacks made the experience even nicer.
We stayed at this listing over the Christmas holiday. Dan and Annette are awesome. They left a present for a child, a famous Racine Kringle and a nice welcome note for our family coming in from out of town. The home was impeccable and beautiful. They even decorated the home for Christmas. I would definitely stay again. My family enjoyed this historic home and all of its beauty.
Just two blocks from the lake, this house is set in an adorable neighborhood with lovely old homes and pretty landscaping. We loved taking walks! The house itself is beautiful and well cared for, stocked with plenty of linens and even beach towels. This was a great place to get together, complete with back patio furniture and a grill. Plus, there was a pac n play for the baby! Such a great staying here, and there were many wonderful details that we appreciated.
We stayed at the Red Brick historical home for an Engagement party celebration. The historical home was very clean, comfortable, and just what our family was hoping for. We really enjoyed the back porch, fire table and new grill. The upstairs bathroom was newly renovated and the beds were extremely comfortable. In the morning we walked to the lake and enjoyed searching for sea glass. The location was perfect! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was a fun filled weekend!
The beds were comfy, the linens were luxurious, the Kringle was a delicious surprise, the artwork was authentic Racine, the bubbles popped for our two year old, the porch was cozy, the bandaids were helpful, the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, spices, and a Keurig. What am I missing? It was only a two night stay. We will return. Thank you!
We stayed at this property in preparation for my son‘s wedding at a nearby venue. Upon entering the home we were greeted with a basket of amazing goodies! The home owners provided so many amenities for our stay that we felt we were at home. The fire pit on the back deck was an amazing touch And allowed us to relax after a busy evening. There were plenty of towels and the bathroom was fully stocked! I have nothing bad to say about the stay. The neighborhood was quiet and looked like someplace out of a Norman Rockwell painting and we were literally one block from the lake. I encourage Anyone to definitely check this property out you will not be disappointed. Oh my gosh and the sleep number beds were amazing. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
